I was somewhat disappointed after my arrival from Southern Borneo (Kalimantan) to Northern Borneo (Sarawak, Brunei, and Sabah). While expecting to find local people living their traditional lives in remote places, I instead found rapid development, Modernization, and Westernization like in Penninsular Malaysia. In addition, the amount of rich tourists doing tropical adventures was overwhelming! The highlights were exploring the uncharted areas of Kalimantan, staying in a traditional Longhouse in Sarawak, and seeing the abundant wildlife in Sabah.
